We've been operating over 30 years and growing all of the time, and all of our DJs have one thing in common — we all love a GREAT PARTY!
As each party requires something different from a DJ, and equally, each DJ has something different to offer, that's where Funky Disco's & Karaoke comes in. We will find out from you exactly what your party is all about, and what you want from a DJ and disco.
We'll then select the right DJ from our team to come along and set up a high quality sound system, with a light show and special effects, and to play your very own choices of music (at your selected volume) in order to create the perfect atmosphere for you and your guests.

Reliable, Personable & Professional
We know that reliability is without a doubt one of the biggest factors when considering which DJ and disco to book. We are very proud to say that we have 28 years of experience behind us, and a 100% reliability record in all of that time too!
Fully Insured & Safety Certified
We have the required PAT (Electrical Safety Certificates) for all electrical gear, and PLI (Public Liability Insurance) which all discos need. Many venues will ask for copies of PLI to be sent through in advance. We will be happy sending copies either to you or direct to your venue upon request. We also possess the relevant insurance which protects our equipment in case of any accidents. All our DJs and acts must also have equipment insurance in case of any accidents to their equipment, our equipment or the venue's equipment.
Full Back-Up Plan in Constant Operation
During our 30 years of providing entertainment we've built up the knowledge to be able to send the right member of our team of professional DJs to suit each and every party we do, and also to be able to still provide a disco if the unthinkable were to happen! We have spare equipment in the unlikely event that any of our high quality equipment were to go down. All of our vehicles have breakdown cover too, so in the very unlikely event that we were to breakdown, we'd have roadside assistance, and even get towed to the booking if we couldn't be fixed at the roadside! We also always have back-up DJs available to us to cover absolutely any eventuality.

One of Scotland's Largest DJ Teams
We are proud to have one of the largest DJ and Mobile Disco teams in Scotland and the North of England. Our roster includes professional DJs, Mobile Discos, Live Bands, Tribute Acts, and Comedians.
Many of our DJs are venue-based and typically travel with their own DJ decks/controllers and laptops. These DJs regularly perform in clubs, bars, and other self-contained venues.
Our Mobile Disco services include a professional DJ, a full PA sound system, lighting, and everything required to deliver a complete event setup.
Altogether, we have 18 part-time and full-time DJs. We work closely with our clients to tailor our services to suit your budget and ensure the best fit for your event. We cater for the budget conscious to the most expensive.
From Castles to Clubs, We've Done It All
Venues have ranged from Floors Castle to the local pub. From Linlithgow Palace to people's living rooms or back gardens. Night clubs of 50 to 1,500 people — one-hour slots to six-hour stage shows.
